With its high-tech underwear, the Italian brand is sponsor and official supplier of the best national teams that will star in the event starting on February 7
The great alpine skiing season is preparing for its most intense moment – the World Championships in Cortina. The event, which returns to Italy after seven editions (the last one in Bormio 2005), kicks off on Sunday 7 February and ends on Sunday 21 February. Surrounded by the unique setting of the Dolomites, over 600 athletes from 70 countries are expected to compete for 13 gold medals. UYN - Unleash Your Nature is ready to take center stage with its UYNNER team supported by high-tech underwear made entirely in Italy.
The most advanced underwear, developed with champions
The athletes from Italy, Norway, Austria, Germany, France, Slovenia and Russia, plus champions Petra Vlhova and Ester Ledecka, will take part in the World Championships with the decisive support of UYN functional underwear. This technical product, indispensable for thermoregulation and therefore for maximum efficiency, has been developed by UYN technicians in cooperation with experts and winter sports champions.
The UYN Natyon 2.0 underwear is the only one with HYPERMOTION system that eliminates seams in the shoulder area to guarantee maximum agility and a full range of motion. The structure with targeted compression is designed to stabilize muscles and promote blood circulation. Exclusive COOLVENT technology quickly wicks sweat away, while three-dimensional channels in the inner surface create a constant flow of air across the skin that keeps the body at the right temperature. To prevent sudden colds, UYN has developed HEATMEMORY, a sophisticated system that retains body heat in strategic areas. Every detail has been carefully studied and tested to enable the athlete to express full potential.
It has been a triumphant season for the Italian brand so far: UYN athletes have won 33 World Cup races out of 48. UYN leads the overall men's and women's rankings with Frenchman Alexis Pinturault and Slovakian Petra Vlhova and it is in first place in 8 speciality rankings (Vincent Kriechmayr in Super-G, Marco Schwarz in slalom, Pinturault in giant slalom and parallel slalom; in the women's field: Vlhova in slalom and parallel slalom, Marta Bassino in giant slalom and Sofia Goggia, who will not take part in the World Cup after her knee injury and is still first in the downhill ranking). Now in Cortina the UYNNER team is getting ready to climb on top of the world: #ReadyToUYN!
